Research Programme

   
The institute is conducting Ph.D. programme in the inter-disciplinary area of Engineering Education. This programme is affiliated to the University of Madras. The Department has been guiding research scholars for Ph.D (Engineering Education). Dr. S. Renukadevi, Professor & Head is a recognized guide of University of Madras. Under her guidance four Research Scholars awarded and one research scholar is pursuing and one research scholar has submitted the thesis.

Laboratory

Language Laboratory

   
The language laboratory was established in the Department of Engineering Education in the year 2017. The language lab software has a facility to work with LAN network as well as a Standalone PC. The Language lab has two console namely teacher Console and learner Console. The teacher and learner console has lot of future which enable the learner effectively practice Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing (Typing) skills.

The laboratory is used to train teachers on various pedagogical tools, Personality development tools and psychological tests through FDPs.
