Instructions to the candidates

  • First time users must create an account with a valid email address. This email will be used for all correspondence. Check it regularly.
  • Only applications submitted on this site with documentation will be considered. No hardcopies or email applications.
  • To register: create/login to an account → fill form → upload documents → pay the fee.
  • Always quote your application number in any query to admission@nitttrc.edu.in
  • Reserved category applicants must upload valid supporting documents (OBC, SC, ST, EWS, or PwD certificates only). Please note that a BC certificate will not be accepted for OBC candidates.
  • Kindly refer Ph.D. Regulations https://www.nitttrc.ac.in/admissions/Ph.D.%20Regulations%20NITTTRC.pdf in the website for eligibility and admission criteria.
  • Applicants are requested to identify a suitable research supervisor and obtain their willingness to guide them prior to the entrance examination and interview. Details of research supervisors and their domains of interest are available on the following link.

  • Upload the supervisor consent form through the portal on or before 13.1.2026.
  • Hall tickets will not be generated for candidates who do not upload the supervisor consent form.
